~ My Story ~
I was born in Poland during the communistic times. I'm a mother of 1 human and 3 cats.
As an artist, I primarily focus on painting female faces, finding clarity in their chaos. A childhood accident left me with scars, leading to years in the hospital where I discovered a passion for drawing. Filling sketchbooks with faces became my escape and expression.
When life handed me stillness, I found movement, especially after the loss of my father and a challenging relationship. These experiences shaped my art, highlighting the simultaneous weight and lift of beauty and hardship.
My work often features iconic women like Marilyn Monroe and Frida Kahlo, whose stories mirror the resilience and struggles I see in myself and others.
Art has been my sanctuary and my battlefield, helping me transform pain into light-heartedness. My sculptures, made from metal, symbolize the strength and grace that come with life's wear and tear. Just as these pieces weather naturally, we all face changes and challenges that shape us.
Through my art, I aim to show that true beauty emerges from the tarnish of imperfections. It's about strength growing in the chaos of uncertainty, and finding peace amidst the disorder.
